FRANCIS BELLAVANCE, MBA, Founder
"Since over 25 years, I am involved and I manage the development of innovative products and processes. I bring a commercial point of view (like a potential buyer / receptor) in the development and the pre-commercialization of new technological solutions. "
Since 2008, Francis has been doing business development, preparation of research proposal (Genome Canada, MESI-FACS, NSERC, CIHR, CFI and venture capital investment) and project management for many research groups.
From 2002 to 2007, Francis was director of business development for Modellium, a software company specializing in logistics optimization and municipal assessment. In 2000 and 2001, he was marketing director for a start-up in optical telecommunications. Francis was VP Business Development for Biozymes, a manufacturer of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical ingredients from 1994 to 1999.
Francis holds an MBA in international management from Université Laval and a PMP certification from PMI.
PASCAL POULIN, MBA, Founder

Pascal has been managing multi-disciplinary and multi-institution research projects since 2002. He adapts his approach to the needs of research teams and funding organizations, in order to achieve the project's objectives and ensure the transfer of their benefits to users.
Pascal has been the manager of numerous projects involving most of the major Canadian universities, as well as private and government partners (federal, provincial and international). He coordinated the submission of several funding proposals (Genome Canada, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, CFI, FACS and others).
During his career, Pascal was also acting director of the forestry, geography and geomatics faculty at Université Laval. He also, as the HR director in 2000-2002, participated in the start-up and growth of a company in optical telecommunications.
Pascal holds an MBA in management from Laval University.
MYRIAM LABRECQUE, M.SC.
"Having a master's degree in science and working for a few years in research laboratories, I was able to realize that financial and scientific management requires special skills. I therefore decided to do an MBA in strategic project management in order to be able to intervene better in these areas and help teams of researchers! "
After a few years working in a forestry research center, Myriam became interested in project management. Being a very organized person, she uses her skills to help the advancement of science through management support to research teams. Wanting to perfect her knowledge and offer better support to scientists, Myriam decided to pursue an MBA in strategic project management, which she completes in parallel with her job with Managium. She is managing many projects and is supporting the team in the majority of other Managium projects.
Myriam holds a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in forest science focusing on entomology. She is currently finishing an MBA in strategic project management at Laval University.
SARA MOUNTIR, M.Sc.
Rigorous, diligent, and adaptable, I provide you with refined support throughout your projects!
Sara has a multidisciplinary profile whose professional background is enriched with various experiences. She holds a first master's degree in administration science with a specialization in accounting, auditing and management control from the Higher Institute of Commerce and Business Administration in Casablanca (Morocco), supplemented by a second master's degree in management, international management specialized in strategy at UQAM. This academic diversity allows Sara to easily adapt to different challenges that projects supported by Managium face.
ODALIS CHAVEZ
Detail-oriented publicist with 8+ years of experience in customer service. Efficient in performing the project management role, I’m almost too passionate about setting milestones and achieving them in time!
Odalis holds a bachelor`s degree in Communication and Advertisement with experience in procurement, logistics, coordination in both B2C and B2B, and marketing campaigns. Her extensive experience in customer service has led her to specialize in project management. She is constantly improving the client relationship.
With Managium, she is involved in the MP OncoPed-Famille project at the CR-CHUQ, FastTRAC2 and FISHES projects at Université Laval. In addition to assisting the team with several other projects, she is also working on the preparation of new project proposals.
ELIANA SERRANO
I am a dynamic and versatile project manager. I’m meticulous and perseverant when needed! My background and experience in Environment, Governance, and Diplomacy alongside my communication skills allow me to effectively develop myself as a team member in the project where I’m involved.
Eliana has a bachelor’s degree in economics and several training courses in project management. She also has 10 years of experience in organizational skills and decision making.
Eliana previously worked in the government, the private sector, and the academia. To improve her skills, she is on the way to get a master’s degree in Project and Environmental Management as well as the PMP certification, which she would achieve while working at Managium. She is involved in the projects EcoTox at McGill Universeity and Omics to close the LOOP at Université de Montréal. In addition to assisting Managium with several other projects and management tasks, she is also assisting research teams writing new proposals.
